ABOUT US
Legacy Ridge is located on 50 acres along the Flint River in northeast Huntsville, AL. The purpose of Legacy Ridge Ministries is to offer a place of rest, renewal, and restoration for those who spend their lives serving others. Since our beginnings in 2021, we have been driven by the goal of helping families and individuals prevent burnout and continue providing sustained care to their families and communities.

ANGIE & BOBBY GORDON
“As full-time ministry leaders, parents of adopted, biological, and foster children, and close friends with individuals who have physical and intellectual disabilities, we have first and second-hand experience with challenges that accompany being effective caretakers. We would not have made it this far without the support of others, opportunities for soul-care and respite, and the grace of God. We believe that God has called us to minister to those who minister to others. Serving on the board of Legacy Ridge Ministries is a privilege and we are trusting that God will use this ministry to prevent burnout, restore hope, promote healing, and ultimately provide a space for individuals and families to commune with each other and their Creator.”
"Our family supports Legacy Ridge Ministries because we have been blessed by God on our journey through adoption and special needs parenting. We have been in ministry and church leadership positions as well. Through these experiences, God has blessed us and has given us a heart for those on similar paths. Many have supported us over the years as they came along side us through mentoring us and praying for us. "We have always loved the idea of owning land for the purpose of offering hospitality and rest. Our lives have also been touched by several family members and friends who have been through the adoption journey and are raising special needs children. In walking with these families we recognized a need for respite. We chose to be part of Legacy Ridge Ministries because it offers us an opportunity to steward our acreage as a blessing to others.
